The first annual FLFES Open House was a huge success. We will be posting a list of contributors shortly. We appreciate the community support. We could not do what we do without it!!

First Light Farm  is located in Perry, Maine.
We are an incorporated, 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

 We are a Maine Licensed Animal Shelter, accepting horses and other equines only and by appointment only. Please feel free to e-mail with any questions or comments.  We appreciate your patience as we develop this website and hope you will visit often to see what may be available for adoption.

First Light Farm Equine Shelter welcomes visitors by appointment only.  The shelter is located on private property, the home of the Managing Director and her family. While we love visitors, we ask that you respect the privacy of the Barstow family and call ahead before stopping by. We also need to enforce safety measures and ask that visitors not approach the barn or paddocks without the approval of or in the company of shelter staff. Often there are horses in quarantine. Cross-contamination with other horses is a potential threat and we must limit access.  We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to making an appointment with you to visit.
